TranQuell® Stress is a high potency, Non-GMO formula designed to manage stress. The bottle comes with 90 tablets providing a 30 day supply of critical B vitamins, minerals and herbs to help reduce anxiety and stress caused by daily challenges. *

Helps Overcome B12 deficiency- Vitamin B-12 and other B vitamins play an important role in producing brain chemicals that affect mood and other brain functions. Low levels of B-12 and other B vitamins such as vitamin B-6 and folate may be linked to depression. TranQuell Stress provides 60 mcg or 1000% of daily value of Vitamin B12 and loads of other critical B vitamins*

Reduces oxidative stress– Vitamin C, an antioxidant, combats the damage caused by oxidative stress. Oxidative stress can trigger neuropsychological disorders. Vitamin C helps fight anxiety and mood imbalances caused by high stress.*

Reduces anxiety and moodiness– Calcium deficiency can appear as severe anxiety, especially among the people who are already in a relative stressful situation. Proper calcium intake can ensure stable moods and reduce anxiety.*

May prevent mild/moderate depression – TranQuell Stress contains choline bitartrate, often referred to as the ‘brain vitamin’. It seems to play a major role in cognitive activity. Patients deficient in choline may experience symptoms of memory loss, lack of energy, severe anxiety, sadness and mood swings. *

TranQuell® Stress is a high potency, Non-GMO formula designed to manage stress. The bottle comes with 90 tablets providing a 30 day supply of critical B vitamins, minerals and herbs to help reduce anxiety and stress caused by daily challenges. *

Helps Overcome B12 deficiency - Vitamin B-12 and other B vitamins play an important role in producing brain chemicals that affect mood and other brain functions. Low levels of B-12 and other B vitamins such as vitamin B-6 and folate may be linked to depression. TranQuell Stress provides 60 mcg or 1000% of daily value of Vitamin B12 and loads of other critical B vitamins*

Reduces oxidative stress – Vitamin C, an antioxidant, combats the damage caused by oxidative stress. Oxidative stress can trigger neuropsychological disorders. Vitamin C helps fight anxiety and mood imbalances caused by high stress.*

Reduces anxiety and moodiness – Calcium deficiency can appear as severe anxiety, especially among the people who are already in a relative stressful situation.

Stress is primarily a physical response, and is not necessarily a bad thing – the body perceives a threat and switches to ‘fight or flight’ mode, releasing a complex mix of hormones and chemicals such as adrenaline, cortisol and norepinephrine to ready the body for physical action. This results in a blood diversion or shutdown, such as digestion, to attend to impending threats. The challenge is when our body goes into a state of stress in inappropriate situations or is in a state of permanent stress. Blood diversion leads to impaired brain function [leading to an inability to ‘think straight’]. Long-term elevated cortisol levels may result in higher blood sugar, blood pressure and decreased libido *. There are three types of stress,

  • acute stress often leading to headaches, upset stomach *
  • episodic acute stress often leading to high blood pressure and heart disease *
  • chronic stress – this is the most dangerous form of stress – permanent and damaging *

Apart from stress, sufferers of mild to moderate depression may experience lack of self-confidence, excessive worrying, increased anxiety, and even excessive agitation. These symptoms may inhibit the ability for one to live a normal life and interfere with overall quality of life. Concerns about prescription antidepressants, with their black box warnings, are continuing to rise due to side effects. In some instances drugs that treat depression have been known to cause suicidal thoughts, worsen clinical depression, and increase anxiety. Some users report that taking antidepressants can cause a blunting of emotions so that even though they do not experience the same lows, the also do not experience emotional highs. For this reason, there are some people who may want to speak to their doctors about using dietary supplements as a first defense to combat mild to moderate depression.*

According to the Mayo Clinic, low levels of a vitamin can result from eating a poor diet or not being able to absorb the vitamins you consume. Older adults, vegetarians and people with digestive disorders such as celiac disease or Crohn's disease may have trouble getting enough B-12. Taking a daily supplement that includes vitamin B-12 may help your body get the nutrients it needs, especially if you're older than 50 or you're a vegetarian. *

Vitamin B6 helps in the production of neurotransmitters, the chemicals that allow brain and nerve cells to communicate with one another, ensuring that metabolic processes such as fat and protein metabolism run smoothly, and is important for immune system function in older individuals. It can also help address a number of conditions, including nerve compression injuries (like carpal tunnel syndrome), premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and some cases of depression and arthritis. Vitamin B6 is often used to treat high homocysteine levels along with folic acid and vitamin B12. Memory loss, diabetes, asthma attacks, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), kidney stones, lung cancer, acne and atherosclerosis may also be treated and improved via vitamin B6 supplementation. TranQuell Stress provides 75mg or 3750% of daily value of this critical vitamin. *

B1 (Thiamine) and B2 (riboflavin), belonging to the vitamin B category, are essential for body to process and metabolize amino acids. Vitamin B2 on the other hand, is needed to activate folic acid to enable the conversion of carbohydrates into ATP, the fuel that the body needs to be able to function. Lack of vitamin B1 can lead to loss of appetite and poor digestion. Consequently, this leads to chronic constipation and, or loss of weight. Folic Acid deficiency can cause mood disorders and low energy levels. It could also lead reduction in neurotransmitters that could play a role in depression.* Vitamin B1 deficiency has also been connected to mental disorders such as

  • Depression *
  • Nervous exhaustion*
  • Insomnia*

Vitamin C, a key ingredient in TranQuell Stress, is a strong antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals in the body that cause damage to cells. Stress and anxiety are more likely to produce more free radicals and so Vitamin C is most useful for managing anxiety and stress. Vitamin C reduces the levels of stress hormones in the blood while also reducing other typical indicators of physical and emotional stress. In a study the cortisol level and high blood pressure were found to be significantly lower in those who received the vitamin supplement.*

In addition to reducing the production of stress hormones vitamin C is also beneficial for

  • Lowering your blood sugar levels, LDL cholesterol and insulin levels *
  • Reducing concentrations of C-reactive protein (inflammation biomarker)*
  • Growing and repairing tissues in your body *
  • Delaying and even counteracting workout fatigue*

Calcium and magnesium, key ingredients found in TranQuell Stress help your body in many different ways. It is important to observe that times of excessive stress or chronic stress lead to high blood pressure and increased levels of anxiety. Key nutrients such as calcium and magnesium are first to be depleted in this process. Magnesium and calcium, despite being opposite in nature, use each other to balance the stress in our body.*

Magnesium has other benefits in addition to reducing stress and anxiety *. It also

  • Promotes emotional balance *
  • Fights anxiety, depression and stress and induces an overall relaxed feeling *
  • Maintains proper muscle and nerves function*
  • Sustains a steady heart rhythm and a normal blood pressure*
  • Strengthens bones*
  • Regulates blood sugar and supports overall immune system *

This product also contains Choline Bitartrate. Choline is a water-soluble nutrient that can be synthesized in the body in small amounts, but mainly is consumed in our diets through nutrient-dense foods and supplementation. Benefits of this molecule include increased cardiovascular health, improved memory, better brain function, and prevention of neural tube defects. Choline’s mechanism of action in the brain is to increase Acetylcholine production if levels are low. It is the direct precursor to this important excitatory brain chemical. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that transmits nerve impulse across synapses (junctions between nerve cells). *

Neurotransmitter functions are complex because the nervous system is complex. A neurotransmitter’s effect depends upon its concentration and the types and number of receptors receiving their impulses. *

Different neurotransmitters can also affect each other’s levels – as well, the same neurotransmitter can have different effects on different types of cells. Acetylcholine, for example, controls muscle contraction in the parasympathetic nervous system. In the brain, Acetylcholine’s function is not as straightforward. In the cerebral cortex, Acetylcholine may inhibit or stimulate certain functions such as mood regulation in order to prevent depression. *

Though there is little known regarding the role of Acetylcholine in emotional control, one study found that there was a significant association between high anxiety and those with the lowest choline concentrations in their blood. *

In one instance, Acetylcholine may bind to a cell to decrease gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and in another instance this neurotransmitter may increase GABA production. GABA is a neurotransmitter involved in the inhibition and regulation of stress. Low levels of GABA have been linked to depression and anxiety. *

Choline is sometimes referred to as the ‘brain’ vitamin since it plays a major role in cognitive activity and has been studied for its effects on depression and anxiety. Patients deficient in choline may experience symptoms of memory loss, lack of energy, severe anxiety, sadness and mood swings.Deficiencies in choline may become a condition that needs supplementation, along with a healthy diet rich in choline food sources. *

TranQuell also combines other powerful agents. A combination of hops flower powder, chamomile, valerian powder and passion flower further ensures that overall stress levels are reduced. Passion flower is used for sleep disorders and anxiety disorder. It is also helped in relieving symptoms related to narcotic drug withdrawal. Chamomile a botanical flower is used for calming and reducing anxiety while lavender is used for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. Chamomile has shown to relax nerves and the nervous system, thereby helping you fall asleep quicker. It also helps fight harmful bacteria and has the ability to boost your overall immunity system.*
